The Toshiba 2TB Removable Hard Drive is an internal 2TB storage drive for a Surveillix series DVR. Surveillix DVRs feature removable HDD trays, allowing a drive to be easily upgraded or replaced in the field without having to open the DVR chassis. Surveillix DVRs also support RAID configurations for redundant and fail safe recording options.. Toshiba hopes to develop products that will better protect the environment and save China.,This contract between Tsinghua University and Toshiba originally began in October 2007 when they signed an agreement on joint energy and environment research. The projects that they conduct work to reduce car pollution and to create power systems that don’t negatively affect the environment. Besides supporting H.264 compression technology to provide small-sized files and use less network bandwidth, the 16-channel DVS video recorder is also compatible with MPEG-4 and MJPEG compression codecs.
