How to get set up
On your Android phone, head to “Settings,” then scroll down and tap "Google." Select "Autofill," then "Autofill with Google" and make sure "Use Autofill with Google" is turned on. After that, whenever you create a new account using a browser or on an app, you’ll have the opportunity to choose a safe, custom-made password.
When creating an account, tap the password creation field, select the key icon, and choose “Generate password and save to your Google account.” Complete your username, and your password will be auto-saved.

Tip
To sign into accounts with saved passwords, simply enter your username and tap “Choose saved password.”
Manage your passwords
Do a Password Checkup
To check the security of passwords you’ve saved to your Google Account, head to “Settings” and tap “Passwords & accounts.” Then, select your Google Account under “Passwords” and tap “Check passwords.”
Stand by as your device reviews every stored password you have. After a few seconds, you’ll see separate lists of any accounts with compromised, reused, and weak passwords.

Tip
Tap into flagged accounts and select “Change password” to update.
Password Manager is also available for use on Chromebooks and the Chrome browser, letting you store passwords across multiple devices for safety and convenience.
