This AMSEC BLC4024 C-Rated Burglar Safe is made of a 1/2" ("C" rate") solid steel body with a reinforcing frame that makes the walls appear to be one inch thick, deterring potential attackers. With a solid 1" ("C" Rate) thickness, the specially designed steel recessed door is protected by a U.L. listed Group II key changeable lock with an internal relock and one million possible combinations. An additional external spring-loaded relocking device, triggered by a punching attack, is also included. The locks and lockers are shielded by a sizable carburized hardplate.
A full-length dead bar made of solid steel is incorporated into the AMSEC BLC4024 C-Rated Burglar Safe to prevent door removal if hinges are removed during a forced entry attempt. The handle of the chest engages a locking mechanism made up of five 1" chromed steel locking bolts.
Standard gray textured paint is included with the AMSEC BLC4024 C-Rated Burglar Safe, but other colors, sizes, and customized features are also available.
