Windows Mobile 6.1 is a version of Windows Mobile, which was released on 1 April 2008.
New features and changes[edit | edit source]
- Various performance enhancements.
- Redesigned the home screen to include tiles that expand upon selecting to reveal more information. It is only included on the Standard edition, and it is not included on the Professional edition.
- Several other changes, such as threaded SMS, a full page zooming option and domain enrolling were added.
- Added a mobile version of Microsoft OneNote, along with an interactive "Getting Started" wizard.
- Improvements to the bandwidth efficiency in ActiveSync to improve battery life.
