This 1972 Ford Mustang Mach 1 was sold new from Carl Beasley Ford in York, Pennsylvania, and is said to be one of 336 R-code High-Output 351ci Cleveland V8 models linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a 3.91:1 Traction-Lok differential. The car was refinished in silver over black vinyl in the early-1990s, and features include black stripes, front and rear spoilers, 15″ Magnum 500 wheels, power-assisted front disc brakes, and dual exhaust outlets as well as power steering, an AM/FM radio, a center console, a Hurst shifter, an Edelbrock intake manifold, and a Demon four-barrel carburetor. This Mustang Mach 1 was acquired by the selling dealer in August 2023 and is now offered with a Deluxe Marti Report, a copy of the window sticker, partial service records, and a clean Pennsylvania title.

The car was finished from the factory in Light Pewter (5A) and was reportedly refinished in 1992. Features include a Mach 1 grille, a vented hood, painted side mirrors, fog lights, front and rear spoilers, Mach 1 graphics, and dual exhaust outlets.

Chrome-accented 15″ Magnum 500 wheels are mounted with reproduction F60-15″ Goodyear Belted Polyglas GT tires. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl with gray accents as well as a color-coordinated dash pad and door panels. Interior appointments include an AM/FM radio, a Hurst shifter, a heater, a center console, woodgrain accents, and three-point seatbelts.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 74k miles, approximately 50 of which were added under current ownership.

The R-code High-Output 351ci Cleveland V8 is equipped with an Edelbrock intake manifold and a Demon four-barrel carburetor as well as finned Boss 351 valve covers. The removed intake manifold and carburetor will accompany the car. The seller states that fluids were serviced and the engine oil was changed in August 2023.
