アメリカを代表する実力派シンガーソングライターであり、女優、詩人、画家、そして慈善家としても活動するジュエルの＜OPEN ROAD＞レーベルからのアルバムがリリース。2009年にリリースされた前作は、子守唄を歌った企画性の高いアルバムだったが、今作は2008年の『Perfectly Clear』に続くポップ・カントリー･アルバム第2弾となる作品で、自身のカントリールーツをメンテナンスし、これまでの人生（愛と、様々な出来事）をテーマにしたものとなっているとのこと。ジュエル本人と、テイラー･スウィフトの作品で知られるネイザン・チャップマンによる共同プロデュース作。こちらはアルバム収録曲全11曲を、アコースティック･ヴァージョンで収めた2CDデラックス･エディション。

レビュー

子供向けの2009年作「Lullaby」を挿んで、ふたたびジュエルがポップ・カントリー路線へと舞い戻ってきた。もともとフォークを基調としている人だけに、染み渡る歌声とレイドバックしたオーガニックなサウンドとの相性はバッチリ。結婚してますます軽やか、柔らかで優しい視線が倍増している。こちらのデラックス盤では、アコースティック演奏のなかに大自然と共に生きる彼女の自然体を見た気が。
