Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
My Jabber connection in Messages just stopped working yesterday on my MBA.. I have deleted and reinstalled the account several times, confirmed that it is still working for others in my company. Looking for ideas on how to fix/troubleshoot. I am running 10.10.3.

What exactly happens when you try to use the account?
Here is the message splash screen I get:
Messages can’t communicate with the Jabber account “company name”.
The operation couldn’t be completed. Connection refused
Launch the Console application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)
☞ In the Finder, select Go ▹ Utilities from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-U. The application is in the folder that opens.
☞ Open LaunchPad and start typing the name.
The title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select
SYSTEM LOG QUERIES ▹ All Messages
from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
Click the Clear Display icon in the toolbar. Then try to connect to the IM server. Select any lines that appear in the Console window. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
The log contains a vast amount of information, almost all of which is irrelevant to solving any particular problem. When posting a log extract, be selective. A few dozen lines are almost always more than enough.
Please don't indiscriminately dump thousands of lines from the log into this discussion.
Please don't post screenshots of log messages—post the text.
Some private information, such as your name or email address, may appear in the log. Anonymize before posting.

Back up all data.
From the menu bar, select
▹ System Preferences... ▹ Network
If the preference pane is locked, click the lock icon in the lower left corner and enter your password to unlock it. Then click the Advanced button and select the Proxies tab. If any proxy options are selected, make a note of them and then deselect them. You don’t need to change the bypass or FTP settings. Click OK and then Apply. Test. The result may be that you can't connect to any web server. Restore the previous settings if that happens.
I cleared all of the proxies, shut down and restarted Messages and still no luck. The only thing that I can think that has changed from when it worked, is that I used Messages on my Mac Mini one night and the next morning the MBA could not connect.
Please post another log extract.
I was able to correct the problem by removing all Keychain entries tied to our corp server, delete the account and re-created the account. Thanks for all of your help Linc.
