MSDN WM_TIMER bug
MSDN WM_TIMER quote: The WM_TIMER message is a low-priority message. The GetMessage and PeekMessage functions post this message only when no other higher-priority messages are in the thread's message queue.

But if you on WM_PAINT doesn't call DefWindowProc, you will never get WM_TIMER message

Microsoft, please fix
