Is this game playable with a Xbox Controller or Mouse and Keyboard? I don't know if i want to rebuy a big flight stick joystick just for a few retro games.

The usual viewpoint was that nothing community made would come close to an official FS3, so the very concept of writing past the cliffhanger was verboten. However, since the Saints Row Reboot killed the company stone dead, there is now a 0% chance of an official FS3 ever coming out. Therefore that argument is null and void, and thus the community should put its best heads together to finish the damn Freespace saga. Hey guys, I recently heard about Freespace 2 and Freespace 1. I've never played them. Well, my 1st question: I want to buy the games (Freespace 2 and Freespace 1) here on Steam, but I don't know if I should really buy them here on Steam, because I've read that GOG.com have better versions of them than Steam. Is there a good set up to have the game play more like a modern space sim? im having a hard time setting up controls. since i see no way to do so DURING a game running?
