History of the War of the Independence of the United States of America. New Haven: Nathan Whiting, 1834, 2 vols, 472 pp and 468 pp, 9 x 5.75 , leather 8vo. Illustrated. In fair condition. All boards attached, with the front board of Volume I desiccated. Rubbing to leather, rounding of corners, and remnants of decorative gilt borders on boards. Spines mostly intact, with the bottom parts of both volumes worn off. Original spine labels detached but included for Volume I. Text block contains typical toning and nominal foxing. Original tissue guard for Volume II and periodic illustrations in both volumes. See photos. Unique, two-volume set that documents the Revolutionary War in the United States.
