I was a little worried about some of the comments about the card reader. Mine work fine. The cards go in pretty solidly. The micro slot requires that the card be inserted upside down with the pins showing up.
The unit is just heavy enough to sit flat on the desk with cables plugged into it. Pretty nice looking. Good deal for the price.
I was a little bothered by the length of the cord on the power supply. It's around 3 feet long. Plan to have an outlet near by.
Note that the unit will not operate without the power supply plugged in. It will not take power from the USB connection.
