Love this! Holds a charge forever. It’s got way more space than anyone will realistically use. I dropped a few gigs of music favs on it as a backup device. The mic is super sensitive, and sound quality is natural. It’s pretty Omni out to 3-4 ft……after that, pointing it directionally is usually clearest.
I needed an easy, portable way to record a bunch of calls and log events for an injury. Clipped to my phone case, I’m ready for any meeting or call combo. I don’t have to remember it, ever……..it clips to my phone, jacket, pocket, collar, keys, binder……whatever, it’s super easy to bring.
The logging functions on the app are limiting, but I’ll put up with an awful lot of their tinkering to improve it, because the finish and function of this is at least double what I’d expected. No joke: I’ve flawlessly recorded multiple hour calls on speaker. Replay sounds just like you are in the room.
I didn’t need an amazing recorder. All I needed was a small one that was rugged enough to live. What I got was a really neat little device that I can imagine all sorts of convenient uses for (no light/display “stealth mode” and Bluetooth triggering come to mind…..)
I’d have gotten by with the 64g…….but the upgrade was too cheap to resist. If you want to keep them all as an archive, buy the big one………..if you transfer like you oughta, I bet the smaller size will serve. Not sure if there is a battery difference, but if the 64g has a bigger battery, that might be optimal.

How to start recording?
Move the recorder device button to the "REC" position to start the recording function, and move it to the "STOP" position to pause the recording and save it at the same time. Sound quality is good
I like that this voice recorder is so small. It came with a charge cable and a pair of wired earbuds with a mic. I wish there were a way to connect it to my regular Air Pods through Bluetooth because carrying around an extra pair of ear buds is annoying. There may be a way to connect through the app, but honestly, I didn't want to download the app and give all my information to yet another company, so I'm trying to use the recorder without the app. It's proving very limiting doing it this way. The mic that's in the recorder seems high quality and doesn't record much background noise, even when I'm recording in the car. The ear bud mic is about what you'd expect, and not as great at catching everything you're saying. With 64GB storage, you will surely not run out of room, so at least you don't have to download often. It comes with a little bag to keep it in if you toss it into a purse or backpack, and the clip on the back makes it easy to attach to things so it doesn't get lost, or so it's convenient. Overall, I can't say I use it much because of the inconveniences of not wanting to interact with the app, but it would probably be much more useful if I wanted to go that route.

Compact recorder good for personal dictation and interview, but not for meetings

I was hoping that this device would help record meetings so that I could participate without taking notes. I have used my iPhone for this purpose, but I thought a dedicated device might be more effective. Initial test of me just reading something out loud worked well. In a 12-person sized conference room, however, the microphone on this device seems to only be able to pick up voices that are about 3 feet away from the device. Also, the user interface on the device is one of the worst that I’ve experienced.
