I recently lost the ability to walk due to a spinal injury and now rely heavily on my wife to assist me. I use my iPhone to text or call her when I need her, but often find myself forgetting to carry my phone with me. I purchased this watch since it is something I would wear and it would always be available. I saw that the Amazon ratings were pretty good, so I figured I would give this watch a try.I'll start with the cons, as there are not too many in my opinion considering the price. The watch comes with no instruction manual so you are pretty much on your own to discover how it works. Another con is the volume is not very loud. I would expect this though in a small watch, but be warned, if you want to talk on the phone through the watch and hear who you are talking too, you need to be in a quiet place.Now the things I like about it. My watch came with the battery at about 84%, so I was able to work with it right out of the box without charging. There is a single button on the right side and a QR code appears when you first turn the watch on. You need to scan the QR code to download the app from the Play Store or Apple App Store. Once the app is loaded on your phone, you start the app and it will walk you through discovering your watch and pairing it to your phone via Bluetooth. The initial setup is pretty simple. Because there were no instructions, I walked through each app on the watch to try to figure out what it was for and how to set it up. Know that the single button on the phone is your friend, so if you are looking at the time, press the button and it will take you to the apps. You can get to settings by swiping up on the screen to the last icon. Note that you can use the watch app on your phone to set up certain features, download new clock faces, share contacts from your phone to the watch, etc. My watch will display incoming text messages and notify me of calendar events. I am able to make phone calls from the watch while it is paired to my cell phone. I can use Siri to send text messages using the Voice Assistant app. There are other features such as step counters, oxygen levels, stress indicators, etc. I turned them on just for fun, but they seem to work well. One thing I found was that you can swipe down on the clock screen to get a quick menu where you can select certain watch features our quickly get to the watch settings. You can also swipe up on the clock screen to see any text messages or notifications that you have received. Note that these messages appear on the watch face as soon as they arrive, but only for a short time and I could not read them fast enough, but swiping up from the bottom of the screen brought all the activity up for my review.I have not tried wearing my watch in the shower, though the description says it is IP68 rated. The watch comes with a rubber wristband that just fit my wrists which are somewhat big. The wristband should be fine for most people, but if you are "big boned", you may need to get another wristband. The watch can be charged with the included charger, but beware that it is a special magnetic type connection on one end and USB on the other, so don't loose the charging cable. The magnetic end of the charger is polarized so it will repel if you attempt to connect it backwards. In other words, it only fits one way.I would have given 5 stars for the rating had the watch come with better instructions or a link to some online instructions. So far, I am very happy with this purchase. I attached a few pictures of the watch face. The blurriness is due to my poor ability to take a good picture. The watch display is very clear.UPDATE: I found the user guide online after a bit of a Google search. Changed the rating to 5 stars now that I know how to operate the watch. Wanted to give 5 stars to start, but a user guide should be included or a website containing a downloadable user guide should be made available for download.
