What size battery do I need?

The trimmer uses 1 AAA battery. (Battery not included)

How do I clean the trimmer?

Simply remove the trimmer head, and rinse head under running water. Do not submerge the trimmer.

Is this product waterproof?

No, but the heads can be removed and rinsed for hygienic grooming.

How do I change the trimmer heads?

Hold the metal base in one hand and with the other twist the cutting head counterclockwise until it is loose - about ¼ of a turn and to replace just follow the same steps but twist on clockwise 1/4 turn.

What do I do if the trimmer head comes apart?

There are small pieces within the trimming head and while they can be put back together, it can prove quite frustrating. Wahl sells a set of all three heads (58132) or you can contact Wahl at and we will help you.

The Wahl 2 in 1 Pen Trimmer includes Detail Head, Rotary Head, Eyebrow Guide, Protective Cap, & English & Spanish Instructions. Our micro personal trimmer features superior blades, rugged anodized aluminum housing, with enough performance, power, & run time to achieve the perfect look on the go or at home. To change out the AAA battery simply remove cap, hold trimmer body with one hand and pinch the trimmer head with your index finger and thumb with the other hand then gently pull up on the trimmer head. This will give you access to the battery tray. Replace bad battery and simply slide trimmer back into the metal sleeve. To remove the trimmer head pinch the head between your index finger and thumb then turn counterclockwise a quarter turn and lift away from the trimmer body. To replace the head, align the notches on the head with the channel on the trimmer body, press down and turn a quarter turn clockwise until it locks into place. This trimmer works. Go slow as the blades do not move at a very fast rate and it will pull. Agree with others that the ear/nose trimmer doesn't do great job. The hair trimmer does work and the battery is easy to replace. This is not a professional tool and should be looked at such. This is just a cheap Chinese product and you get what you pay for.

I’m generally glad I got this but do find that I have to run it awhile to fully do the job for nostril hair. My biggest gripe is that it recommends that you don’t leave battery in for long periods of time of non usage , which is reasons to me since this avoids potential leaking battery acid, but the design makes it hard to remove the housing from the shaft to access the battery compartment. There’s limited space to grasp inner portion to slide it out of the sheath and should have more user friendly design to allow easier access. I do appreciate the reasonable price and interchangeable heads to all for multiple applications.
