Wake Up, Girls! Movie Announced

The homepage for next year’s Wake Up, Girls! original anime television series has announced that a Wake Up, Girls! Shichi-nin no Idol (Wake Up, Girls! The Seven Idols) feature film will open theatrically on the same day the TV series premires, January 10. The series revolves around a struggling talent agency that decides to form a female idol singer group. Yutaka Yamamoto (Kannagi, Fractale) is directing the anime franchise that will be co-animated by Ordet and Tatsunoko Productions.
