I am a restaurant owner and I was looking for something that can help me with balancing my waitress tip and at the same time show me the results of the day. Now what I love the most is that it keeps up with my inventories which it’s something super convenient for me.

Good product

The cord has extra usb plug ins for other items which is helpful. Wish it could be cordless but the cord is very long so that helps. Easy setup. Worth the money if you can get it on sale.

Brand new in the box, was very easy to set up. Pick up at BestBuy was a breeze, I recieved notifications of when pick up was ready, as soon as I arrived I was in and out in no time. - A:Answer Hey! The other answer is correct. The Square Register does not need any other equipment to allow you to run your business, but if you would like to print receipts or have your cash drawer pop open for cash sales, you will need to purchase the external hardware.

- A:Answer I have always emailed or text the receipt to customer through the Square. Plus on the remote customer screen it gives that option for them to choose a receipt to be sent or not.

Q: QuestionHow long is the cord to plug in the actual register? I have a plug that is about 4-5 ft away from where I would need to put it on the counter and this may not work for me as it does not produce the cord specs for plugging this in.

Q: QuestionAm I able to connect a keyboard to this for easier input of merchandise?

- A:Answer We haven't fully tested the compatibility of keyboards (Bluetooth or wired) with our Register, so we don't officially support them, unfortunately. We are working to bring this feature to our sellers in the future though! That being said, we have heard from members of our Community that connecting a USB keyboard to the Register hub is possible.
