Ke$ha has joked that fans often assume she is drunk when she is spotted in public.

The 'Die Young' singer was recently protested by the Parents Television Council for drinking her own urine on her MTV reality show, but later said that she has no regrets about the odd practice.

Ke$ha has now admitted to ET Canada that most people mistakenly believe she lives a wild lifestyle simply because her music is often outrageous.

"People do expect me to be drunk most hours of every day," she teased, adding to her interviewer: "Not to disappoint you, but I'm not wasted right now."

The popstar went on to insist that no aspect of her series My Crazy Beautiful Life has been manipulated in order to gain publicity.

"There's not one moment on the show that's been scripted or fake," she said. "It's my life. It's balls out."
