    Microsoft MultiMedia K5000001 Wired Keyboard

    I purchased this keyboard to replace one that my girlfriends cat managed to dump my water glass on to. I know what you are thinking, keep liquid away from your keyboard! Well I got this one and the main thing I was interested in was the natural position of the keys. The additional functions of the keyboard are a bonus but I don't use them much, save for the volume keys which really are handy to have, since I do a lot of work at my desk being able to turn down the sound when the phone rings is very handy indeed. I like this keyboard more then the standard keyboards that come with computers these days as I suffer from Carpel Tunnel and the natural keyboard helps a lot with the pain and numbness from the amount of work I do on the computer.     A Keyboard With Function And Style

    In considering the Microsoft Natural MultiMedia Keyboard, I was initially attracted by the nicely designed layout which focuses on those key media elements most often used by the majority of folks, including myself. The ergonomics was a particularly nice addition, with clear and easily read text. The split angular arrangement of the keyboard had something of a "foreign" sensation in the beginning, and admittedly that took some getting used to. The feel is definitely different from the common straight line, even arrangement common to the majority of keyboards on the market. Once I'd gotten past that aspect of matters, and allowed myself sufficient time to become accustomed to this modified layout, I actually found that there was less fatigue even after lengthy periods of work, but my speed ...

    Some of the Keys stopped working after only a short period of time

    When I first received the keyboard and case I was very happy. Setup was easy and seemed to be good value and just what I needed. Unfortunately after a short period of time several of the keys on the keypad stopped working and rendered the keyboard useless. I have noticed this complaint in a few other reviews so it seems like the quality of the product is very poor.

    Best keyboard ever made .... and not made anymore!

    This is by far the best keyboard ever produced! It is hard to find, as it hasn't been made for several years, so I bought two used ones on eBay. The layout is so natural, it is very hard to go back to the "flat" keyboards.
