    Good value for a gen 1 night division monocular. Used, but nice condition.

    I bid on this Night Owl night vision monocular as a gift for a relative. I own another brand (Yukon) and found the Night Owl easy to use even though it came with no instructions. Having the Yukon made things easier and will offer verbal instructions/warnings to the recipient so the light intensifier will not be exposed to direct/bright light. I wish the protective carry case had been included too but will find something to put it in for safe storage & handling. It works well, and even better when using an additional infrared flashlight to see further than the built-in IR permits. Since this is a generation 1 night vision device, it cannot compare to newer generation 2 or 3 but was a very good buy considering the price. No buyers remorse here and would buy it again.

    SEE IN THE DARK WITHOUT BREAKING THE BANK

    THE NIGHT OWL NOCC3 WORKS REALLY WELL FOR THE MONEY,I COULD SEE OBJECTS IN THE DISTANCE THAT I THOUGHT WOULD NOT BE POSSABLE FOR A SMALL LIGHT WEIGHT UNIT.I WAS ABLE TO READ A TRAFFIC SIGN AT A DISTANCE OF 100 YARDS WITH LITTLE TO NO OUTSIDE LIGHT SOURCE.I DID NOT THINK THAT YOU COULD PURCHASE A CIVILIAN VERSION OF NIGHT VISION GOGGLES FOR THIS PRICE THAT WORKED THIS WELL.I WILL BUY AGAIN,WISH I HAN A 2 GEN VERSION.
