I created this cross stitch pattern based on the original design by Norman Hartnell of Queen Elizabeth II's coronation dress. The dress includes the 11 emblems of the United Kingdom and its dominions, as well as a moving quotation from Her Majesty's coronation speech. This pattern is perfect for any cross stitch enthusiast who loves to create beautiful and detailed pieces.

This is a pattern for stitchers from intermediate to advance level, since the design has many half cross stitches, petit point in eyes and mouth. Backstitch, beads and special embellishment details are in abundance.

This is a beautiful design. The graphs are a little hard to read, but I plan to have the detail enlarged. I plan to alter the text at the top to now commemorate Elizabeth's entire reign. I hope she does one on Princess Diana at some point.
