The artwork in this series seriously never disappoints, it’s so lovely. The story’s getting a little confusing to remember but I’m in love non the less

More confusing plot, but some super unique magic uses that I haven't seen in other books and I really like the ideas.
I'm still completely in love with the entire concept and overall art of this series.

Goddamn this story is getting convoluted.
I think it's really asking too much at this point to just get a story focused on William and Dantalion and their relationship.
I really miss the first volumes of this manga where everything was right tight and focused and concise.
I probably won't be reading any further. The sadness is real.

We're finally moving along! So I feel like part of this book was also part of the anime as filler and it was nice to read it. Had a nice laugh and then drooled over how hot Dantalion looked in a maid's outfit and then cooed at William because he looked so cute even though he was all hunched over himself, LOL. It was a nice way to end the book but we also got some neat things going on. For one, we've learned some new stuff about Kevin (Uriel), which had been hinted for AWHILE now. And OK, so I had hope that he wouldn't try to send William

Once more, the art style is cute as always but the story is dragging a bit now and I find that I'm not as invested in the story as I would have liked at this point. Where this story really shines is the interactions between William and Dantalion, which have been lacking somewhat recently, though I am happy that the plot is moving forward somewhat. We have mysterious goings on in heaven, and the hints that someone else is controlling the actions and the war between angels and demons, alongside a relative unknown teaching William magic in order to stand up for the human faction in all of this. Things are getting more interesting, but it's kind of slow-paced and interspersed with a lot of cheap gags that are missing the mark more and more recently. Hopefully the next volume will pick things back up again.

Archanděl Michael je totální debil. Vážně. Stejně jako Uriel (Urinal?). Zato Metatron... Pořád si stojím za tím, že démoni jsou prostě lepší. Takhle zotročit Johanku z Arku!!! Ale sekne jí to.

Endlich lernen wir auch die restlichen Engel kennen. Neben Michael und Uriel gibt es da noch Zachariel, Azrael, Raphael, Raziel, sowie Metatron und der mysteriöse Sandalphon. Metatron hat irgendetwas vor, ich kann aber nicht genau sagen was. Ich kann auch nicht einschätzen ob er gut oder böse ist, er ist auf jeden Fall super niedlich und ich bin schon gespannt, was er vor hat.
Die anderen Engel dienten in diesem Band ehr als Randfiguren, aber ich hoffe das sie auch noch ihren großen Auftritt bekommen. Ich hoffe wirklich das irgendjemand endlich mal Michael aus dem Weg räumt. Der ist so von sich eingenommen und ich hasse ihn einfach. Er muss einfach mal seine Grenzen aufgezeigt bekommen und ich hoffe wirklich das Metatron diese Aufgabe übernehmen wird.
William hat derweil ganz andere Sorgen, der alljährliche Rosenkrieg steht bevor und er hat keine Ahnung wie er das benötigte Geld aufbringen soll. Sein größter Konkurrent dabei ist Isaac. Aber nicht nur im Rosenkrieg scheint Isaac die Nase vor zu haben, auch in Sachen Magie scheint er ein glückliches Händchen zu haben.
William hat beschlossen sich mit Magie zu beschäftigen und er hat dafür anscheinend den perfekten Lehrer gefunden, den Comte De Glanstrae. Er möchte William dabei helfen seine Fähigkeiten zu entwickeln, sodass er in der Lage ist sich gegen die Engel und die Dämonen zu wehren und nicht länger ihr Spielball zu sein. Mathers kommt sehr charmant rüber, aber ich habe das Gefühl das er etwas verbirgt. Ich bin schon sehr auf seine wahren Absichten gespannt.
Natürlich dürfen in diesem Band auch Dantalion, Sitri und Camio nicht fehlen. Die drei sind einfach so toll und der Manga lebt durch sie. Diesmal müssen sie ihre Kriegskünste unter Beweis stellen, denn die himmlische Armee steht schon bereit. Doch was ist ihre Absicht? Wollen sie wirklich einen Krieg anzetteln oder haben sie ein ganz anderes Ziel? Lest selbst!!
Fazit: Band 6 war wieder sehr spannend, voller Action und hat mal wieder eine Menge Fragen aufgeworfen. Wir lernen viele neue Charaktere kennen und bei vielen ist nicht klar was ihre wahren Absichten sind. Die Handlung war mal wieder sehr schön gestaltet und die Figuren haben wieder perfekt mit ihr harmoniert. Die Zeichnungen sind wieder super schön und Detail getreu. Camio auf dem Cover ist der Blickfang!!

There is now a war between angels & demons in Paris, which happen to be Michael's territory. Lot of angel's politic that doesn't interest me.
A different type of war is going on at school, The War of Roses. Where teams of students are against each other in a list of task.
William is too busy wanting to learn magic and gain powers to resist the demons and angels that are constantly after him and Solomon's soul.
There are a bunch of new characters, AGAIN (this happen like every volumes now, I am loosing track of all of them...)
Not much of Dantalion in this one, he is stuck in hell doing paper work.
I like this series but the plot advance at turtle steps speed.

I have to admit that I missed Dantalion a little in this volume! I've really started to like that guy and want to know more about who he actually is.
The plot was really ok, since the story finally begins to move forward a little. Furthermore, I'm really curious to find out what's up with the angel's politics and what Mathers has planned.
Not going to rave about the beautiful art again, as that point should be more than clear by now. ;)
