AT-ST
This page is part of IGN's Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order wiki guide and details everything you need to know about defeating the AT-ST.
Who are the AT-ST's in Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
"The All Terrain Scout Transport (AT-ST), also known as a Scout Walker is a lightweight, bipedal two-person transport deployed for ground force support in the Galactic Empire. They were often used for swift reconnaissance and targeting smaller threats that evaded the larger AT-AT's. Equipped with chin-mounted medium blaster cannons capable of firing at a range of two klicks, as well as side cannons armed with rockets and concussion grenades targeting enemy vehicles and ground troops at close range."
How to Defeat AT-STs
AT-STs are formidable minibosses that take time to defeat, but can be done in a few different ways, depending on how safe you want to take things.
AT-STs usually alternate between firing a string of two-shot laser blasts from their central guns, and then either drop a bundle of grenades in front of them, or ready a rocket to fire in your direction. If you get close, they'll drop grenades by their feet to discourage melee attacks.
You can still charge in for strikes at an AT-ST's legs, but it is one of the more risky maneuvers. Instead, your best strategy is to keep your distance and focus on deflecting the laser blasts, and using Force Push to send missiles back at them.
With enough Force Power, you can also alternate shoving the grenades they drop back into them as well, but it can leave you out of force power for when a missile comes your way, making it a bit harder to dodge, but it can also lower the health of the AT-ST at a much faster rate.
Once an AT-ST goes down, its pilot will escape, but has limited moves to try and fight you with, and goes down with a single lightsaber strike.
