i love this product, it doesn't get much respect but its worth getting it. waterproof ink that doesn't feather out, i love using it for watercolor and marker drawings.
do get this. the tip sizes are unique yet simple, i compare them to Prismacolor fine liners. the ink is more pigmented than the prismacolor pens but you get these easy nibs to chose from with easy and effortless control while writing or drawing.
i've used the four pack of these pens before and i still have them around (and they still work; i just wanted to expand with another set that had the calligraphy chisel pens) after having been using them from middle school to high school.

I bought a nib for line variation..... THIS was wayyyyy better than my nib pen. It has black black ink
doesnt smear and its line variation oh my god...... This is worth the 17... I think I will buy this in bulk!!!


by the wway the eraser is actually pretty good. And as far as them feeling cheap and light... They write like expensive pens. PERFECT for making comics and manga

3.5 to 4 Stars. The larger #10 (felt) tends to seriously fray, so trimming with fingernail clippers is necessary after usage, however, the ink is exceptional, very black, making for good cover, like a Sharpie without the bleed. The sizes fall perfectly between the Microns. The 0.4 (nylon tip) has become a go-to pen for me, others are felt. Please restock!

These pens are awesome. They are quite comfortable to use and they glide really well on the paper. I had never used a Sakura product and I feel I will not use any other from now on. Truly a great pen for anybody who loves to draw for hours or doodles for a few minutes. I highly recommend this product.

I was extremely disappointed at the incredibly cheap feel of these marker pens and the pencil. They feel similar to those cheap no-brand or Mr. Sketch fine tip markers that you would buy your three-year-old. There is absolutely no weight to them at all. You could probably get the same effect from holding a drinking straw.
However, the lines are very dark and consistent. I have had zero problems with the ink quality. Is the plastic pen component itself that I very much hate.

Pros:
+ Very dark lines
+ Great consistency

Cons:
- Very cheap-feeling utensils
- Not the best eraser
- Weightless and difficult to maneuver if you prefer weighty utensils
- Not ergonomic

Overall, I think I'd rather pay more for a better quality of utensil. I won't be buying these again, even if they do write dark. I'll purchase a more expensive marker pen and save myself the cramp!
