Our mission is to ignite the human spirit through movement. Founded in 2010, On set out to shake up the running industry with a single transformative product, a completely new cushioning technology for running shoes, CloudTec®. Today, On remains innovation and design-led, delivering industry-disrupting premium footwear, apparel, and accessories for high-performance running, outdoor, and all-day activities. Existing at the intersection of performance, design and impact – inspired by athletes, we always look for ‘better’ – something we believe is achieved through continual experimentation, starting again, thinking differently, breaking the mold. Every day our teams continue to cook up trailblazing innovations within our Zurich-based On Lab and across our global hubs from Ho Chi Minh City and Hanoi to Shanghai, Portland, Berlin, Yokohama and beyond.     Thrilled to share On’s Q1 earnings today – showcasing a strong first quarter across all our key metrics. Recapping a few highlights: - 29.1% growth in Q1’24 vs Q1 on a constant currency basis, resulting in 508.2m CHF Net Sales in Q1 – our first time exceeding 500m CHF in a single quarter. A nice milestone! - Strong profitability with 15.2% adj. EBITDA - Our growth extends regionally, with for the first time in On’s history APAC making up 10% of our overall business Behind the numbers – record-breaking podium moments; game-changing product innovations; store openings in Berlin and Portland – with Paris, Milan, and Austin just around the corner; new brand-building partnerships including FKA Twigs; our first commercial app offering the most intimate customer experience.     Introducing the 360 Athlete Support program, aimed at redefining how athletes are supported. Developed in collaboration with Swiss Triathlon legend Nicola Spirig, OLY, and based on multiple athlete surveys, the program provides resources and education that touches a range of aspects often overlooked in traditional sponsor-athlete partnerships. This holistic philosophy of support was developed with consistent feedback from On athletes since 2022, tracking their biggest challenges and wishes. It's about more than just competition day: the program provides support to athletes on mental health and mindset, physical well-being, finance and branding, career planning, and more. “Having On redefining the partnership with its athletes in such a way can be a game changer for them. I really appreciate the chance to use my experience and my network to help our athletes become the best versions of themselves, both in their sporting endeavors and in life beyond the finish line.” – Nicola Spirig, OLY.     Thrilled we were able to host a discussion with IMD on ‘Making Culture your Competitive Advantage’, led by Alyson Meister, PhD, this week. It was a great experience to be able to deep dive into our cultural beliefs, and how they translate into our day-to-day operations at On. Both Marc Maurer and I reflected on how we remain committed our culture and environment we want to create despite the challenges of growth. Being intentional about every choice we make, on HOW we work together and what is the WHY behind it, will continue to drive us to achieve our mission as a team.

    "In the #design ecosystem, students are true explorers. Their ability to come up with imaginative ideas and the willingness to go the extra mile to make them work is really inspiring. We recently connected with CREAPOLE students in a 3-day workshop that allowed us not only to deep dive into how we drive creativity at On but also support their journeys, and learn together. As creatives, we should push for an open-source mindset.     Introducing our new partnership with UK-based organization Black In Sport. Together, we'll be collaborating on an event series designed to inspire and empower young people within the sports industry. The partnership kicked off with a panel conversation at our store in London's Spitalfields Market featuring Ashleigh Nelson, 3x Team GB Olympian, Lillian Okolie ACCA MICB, Founder of The Inside Lane, and Deji Akande CEO and Founder of Gateway Sports & Entertainment, hosted by Maya Bruney and Vivien O. (Track+Fits). “We recognize the opportunity we have to drive change amongst our communities and increase safety, access, and inclusion within movement. Black in Sport is a great example of an innovative community that is inspiring the next generation to achieve their potential.” – Sahra Kaboli-Nejad, PhD, Head of Diversity, Inclusion and Social Impact at On. BIS is an organization dedicated to community and celebrating black achievement in sports, amplifying the stories of diverse professionals in sports and giving young people easier access to networks and opportunities to kickstart or boost their careers in sports and beyond.     Forward ever, backward never. From Jamaica to LA, WalkGood LA is a family-led community organization all about bringing people together from all walks of life. Based in Los Angeles, WalkGood provides spaces for healing through community yoga classes, guided meditations, hikes, run clubs, and other activations, attracting hundreds of members weekly. We’ll be partnering with WalkGood LA through our Right to Run program and to kick it off, we’ve teamed up to spread the spirit of 'Walk Good' – the Jamaican phrase encouraging safe travels, good fortune, and 'take care' in a head-to-toe capsule collection, currently available only in the US, including the customized Cloudrunner 2 WalkGood – Swiss engineering combined with Jamaican joy in every stitch.
