Enjoy an evening of George Gershwin favorites arranged for two pianos, performed by Bienen piano professor James Giles and special guests Spencer Meyer and Logan Skelton. James Giles regularly performs throughout North America, Europe, and Asia. This season, he gives recitals in Italy and Portugal, and serves on the jury of the 2024 Gina Bachauer International Piano Competition. Giles, Myer, and Skelton’s program features Percy Grainger’s Fantasy on Porgy and Bess, as well as Logan Skelton’s arrangements of An American in Paris, “Fascinating Rhythm,” “Nice Work If You Can Get It,” “Strike Up the Band,” “I’ve Got a Crush on You,” and many more Gershwin hits.
