What are the default SNMP ports used in QTS or QuTS hero?
SNMP default ports are 161 and 162. Port 161 is used for SNMP requests and SNMP responses and port 162 is used for SNMP Trap.
Click hero to know the default network ports used in QNAP devices.

Can I change the SNMP default Trap port?
SNMP default Trap port is 162. Unfortunately, this port cannot be changed. Only The protocol port 161 can be changed from the SNMP server settings.

Why can't I find the NAS storage information from the NAS SNMP?
Ensure your NAS Storage Pool has volumes created, not only iSCSI LUN. The NAS SNMP provide storage information from the NAS volumes and not from the Storage Pool/LUN.

How do I get NAS iSCSI LUN OID info from the NAS "NAS.mib" file?

Download nas.mib file
- Log in to QTS as an administrator.
- Go to Control Panel > Network & File Services > SNMP > SNMB MIB
- Click "Download" and save the nas.mib file to your Windows PC.

Open nas.mib file using any SNMP MIB browser.

Locate the string "lunTable" using MIB browser then iSCSI LUN OID (for example: 1.3.6.1.4.1.24681.1.4.1.1.1.2.1.10.x) and the SNMP information should appear.
