An confusing movie made worse by the poor camera work.

Georgan G I really liked the experimental effects and hilarious comedy. This movie about a play within a movie within a movie was so fun. Even the title is a play on words as the ultimate question for an actor, i.e., are you willing to do a full frontal? Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/19/24 Full Review Stephen L I thought the plot was a bit too regular lame long winded to attract and keep an audience other than a old fashion revenge movie plot. The story had a few great parts, (1) in particular when Terrance Stamps tosses that guy over the railing, however, most of the movie dragged along. The story seemed to be a N old fashion revenge movie that his daughter dies a fawl death and a father goes after and gets the bad guys, however, no thought of staying in line with making this a great must recommend memorable movie, by having another girl passing away, not Terrace Stamps daughter, leaving him to go after the bad guys, yet not knowing his daughter is alone after running away would of kept the audience glued to watch and rave about the movie as a twist was needed to make it come alive. Anyway, my thoughts at best. I saw the original screening in San Francisco at the San Francisco Film Institute prior to its official release. I knew one of the producers who seemed to Arrange a private screening for friends and afterwards a cocktail party. This is a review for "The Limey". As this review is not for "Full Frontal". That movie sucked major wind. My mistake. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 07/20/23 Full Review Audience Member As a comedy without jokes, it's incredibly dull Rated 2 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member I get the negative reaction, but I had a pretty good time with this. I think I just have a high tolerance for Soderbergh's shenanigans; I liked Bubble and The Girlfriend Experience after all. I thought the multiply-nested structure of films-with-films was compelling, and it's also pretty funny. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 01/30/23 Full Review Audience Member Soderbergh is so busy trying to create his movie-within-a-movie -- and, in at least one instance, his movie-within- a-movie-within -a-movie -- that he botches the enclosing movie. Rated 0.5 out of 5 stars 02/05/23 Full Review Audience Member they keep losing my review-grrrr Rated 2.5 out of 5 stars 01/21/23 Full Review Read all reviews Post a rating

David Ansen Newsweek Soderbergh's playfully experimental spirit should be saluted, even if the end product looks like it was more fun to make than it is to watch.
