June Morning Meeting and Digital Calendar for PREK

Calendar time and morning meeting have never been easier! I have created and done all the prep work for you so you can now incorporate calendar, number of the day and morning meeting into your routine.

Students absolutely love this time of day and look forward to the daily activities. Teach the calendar, number of the day, a literacy or math skill and get your students talking with a turn and talk. The turn and talk is perfect for building oral language and vocabulary.

• JUNE CALENDAR

This comes with moveable numbers, holidays, birthday calendar pieces, and home day. It can be used year after year!

• CALENDAR BASICS

These include basic calendar skills; today is…, tomorrow…, yesterday was.  There is a weather chart, and seasons and temperatures slide. 

• NUMBER OF THE DAY

Three slides teach number sense for numbers 1-10. Find the number on the tens frame chart, build it on tens frames and 1 more/1 less. Pick a random number each day to continue to build number sense.

• WEATHER

There is a calendar weather chart to move and compare the weather days for the entire month.
