Description
This suffixes sorting center is for students to practice reading and identifying words with the suffixes -y, -ty and -ly. The students, either individually, with a partner or with a small group, take turns reading the words aloud and sorting them into the correct suffix category. Then, the student or group records the word into the correct category on their recording sheet. Finally, they are to underline the base word and circle the suffix as an added practice component. This center would best be followed by my suffix cut and glue sort or suffix color sort, both available in my TpT store. I also have the same center and activity sheets available for many other prefixes and suffixes! Thanks and enjoy!
