BlazBlue Variable Heart Chapter 16
The chapter begins with Tager and Litchi fighting off a group of Fuzzy. And during this Kajun notices that Fuzzy's healing is slower than what it was before.
Shiroi wants Kokonoe to help with the fighting, but Kokonoe says that she is leaving it to them since fighting isn't her expertize and Fuzzy shouldn't give them too much problem. Kokonoe then thinks for herself that everything is going as predicted, and what comes next depends on Bell's goals.
It then cuts to Mai fighting another group of Fuzzy, and Mai gets irritated that they are simply playing around and taking turns with whom will fight Mai. Mai was able to wound one of the Fuzzy, and while Mei-fang complimented Mai for it, she wonders for how long can Mai keep wielding it. Mei-fang then decides to tell Mai why she wants both her and Bell. They are needed to eradicate all conflict. Mei-fang then asks Mai if she knows why the civil war occurred. Mai answers that it's because a group of cities didn't agree with the NOL, and Mei-fang is disappointed at the answers. Bell however answers it was due to power, that they learned about that power's existence. Mei-fang says that it correct, that a couple of fool's learned about that power. And that everyone that died in the war was only sacrifices. Mai asks Bell what is it that they are talking about, and Bell answers that it's the Black Beast. That it doesn't matter how frightful the power is, as time passes it becomes a legend and people begin to worship it instead of fear it. And that they wanted it, especially once they knew they could create it.
Mei-fang could never forgive them. This made Mei-fang wonder what could she do to protect the Imperator. And she came to one conclusion, and that is power. She needs power that will not falter to anybody. So the thing Mei-fang wants it Take-Mikazuchi. After Mai called Mei-fang insane, Mei-fang asked Kokonoe heard everything. While Kokonoe is in another place she could communicate with Mei-fang, and Kokonoe asked Mei-fang if she really thinks that it's possible to temper Take-mikazuchi by using NoName and a prime field. But Mei-fang tells Kokonoe to not ask such dumb questions, since Mei-fang says that the thing Kokonoe wants to know is the method, since that is the reason why Kokonoe let Mai and Bell be caught. However Mei-fang won't tell Kokonoe, instead the first thing she will do wen Take-mikazuchi have been created is to annihilate sector seven. Kajun is pissed at Kokonoe when she heard that Kokonoe had used Mai and Bell as bait, however Kokonoe tells Kajun to not worry since she had called for the strongest help she can think of.
Back to Mei-fang and Mai, suddenly there are snow in the air, and one of the fuzzy got trapped in ice. Jin says he had come here since Kagura sent him, and wonders why Mai is here.
