Everybody's flying an X-wing in new 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' TV spot

X-wing pilot Poe Dameron (Oscar Isaac) is a leader of men and aliens in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens."

Another day, another Star Wars: The Force Awakens TV spot. But haven't we seen it all yet? NO WAY, DARTH JOSE!

Pretty much everyone's flying in this new round of footage, including Rey (Daisy Ridley) piloting the Millennium Falcon — and not doing half bad. (The little droid BB-8 doesn't seem to be enjoying the trip, however.)

What is noteworthy, however, is seeing who's in the cockpits of some of those X-wing fighters making a run on the First Order's Starkiller Base. (Think Death Star with cold, Hoth-like weather conditions.) We've known Oscar Isaac's Poe Dameron was in one of the old Rebel Alliance (and now Resistance) ships since the very first teaser last year, but now we see him giving orders to "Red Squad" and "Blue Squad" — with his helmet, we're gonna assume he's Black Leader.

There's a glimpse of a female pilot in one X-wing and in another there's a Sullustan behind the controls. Maybe he's related to fellow one of two known flyboys from his species: Ten Numb piloted a B-wing during the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi, and Nien Nunb co-piloted the Falcon with Lando Calrissian when the Rebels took down the second Death Star.

We may have to wait till Dec. 18 to get the 411 on these new folks, but there's at least one more alien X-wing pilot who we know is in The Force Awakens: Ello Asty, a guy who has his own Hasbro action figure, is rumored to be an ode to the Beastie Boys and is described as "a skilled if occasionally reckless X-wing starfighter pilot for the Resistance."

Hello, Asty!
