Assembly was fairly easy for my husband who put it together in <30 minutes while watching a soccer game.Very sturdy for a lightweight device.Personally, as a walker it function very well. And as a walker, it gives you a nice stop and rest seat before you move on. In house as a wheelchair it’s just ok, if rear wheels could swivel, maneuvering turns would be easier. Our floors are tile and wood, carpet would be a problem. Not quite sure how this would work as a wheelchair outside of home setting, rough sidewalks, cobblestones, grass, etc – wouldn’t even attempt it. Smooth floors should not be a problem.Hand brakes are excellent when engaged and give support when you go to sitReviewers who posted videos were a great help with assembly, although directions provided were fairly easy to follow2 final thoughts…this is not a device that you would sit in comfortably for hours…and, I took a risk and bought this as an open box at a substantial savings. Just did not come in original box…all parts were there

This was a great value for me. I use this to assist my wife with mobility. It can be used by using her legs, or by having me push it. It supports her legs and feet. There is a safety strap on both foot pedals. It is also very lightweight. Which is very important for a senior citizen.

On our last cruise in Dec we discovered that we would not walk on our cruise inApril 16. So on the way home we ordered your walker that you had. When we recit we were able to put it together and the we put it in our bedroom for our April cruise. We are both 81 years old. On our way to Miami we discover that one of the front wheels fell off so to make a long story we could not use the chair at all and we had to haul it all over the airport and to our ship. We have NEVER used it at all. I understand it is past the return time but. WE CAN NOT ROLL THE CHAIR AT ALL. WHAT CAN WE DO. I can send pictures if neededIt works great now can’t wait to use it on our next cruise

I like this wheel chair because it also can be used as a walker. And when my husband got out of the hospital I was using a walker. I though how am I gonna do this? He can’t walk or stand very well. And couldn’t be left alone. And I myself need something to hold onto. So I looked around and found this wheel chair/walker.It’s perfect for multiple uses. It’s very compact but sturdy. The quality is really good. It’s worth the money.

This chair broke as soon as it was assembled. The foot rests did not have anything to lock it down. In mid motion, they would fly off of the entire apparatus. One wheel also came bent and made the chair hard to maneuver. Not sure if I received a used item.

  6. Sterling Land

Easy to put together, more lightweight than expected,. It is sturdy, and easy to push the person around if you use as a wheelchair. I feel like this was a great purchase so far! I will let you know if anything changes. I don’t think it will.

Update***Finally got to use the walker/chair outdoors. Took my mom to her dr appt and the back rest is not comfortable. My mom was straining the whole time trying to keep herself sit straight up. She was leaning more towards the back like a recliner than sitting up. Safety issue… my mom does not walk. The chair will not go over a slightly raise floor panel. As I was pushing my mom to her dr appt, my mom was literally thrown out of her seat all because the chair didn’t go over the entrance floor panel. She hurt herself. There were people around who helped me get her off the floor and back into the chair. I DONT CARE FOR THIS WALKER/ CHAIR FOR THESE REASONS.I purchased this for my mom as a smaller transportation w/c rather than hauling a big wheelchair around when we are out in public. I have had it for a few days now, so I don’t know how good it will hold up outside. The assembly was simple. It took about 10 minutes to put it together. No tools needed. I sat in it to test its durability and I must say I’m impress. The seat cushion is not as uncomfortable as I thought it would be. I did purchase an additional seat pad for my mom just incase she starts to feel uncomfortable for sitting too long. The wheels rolls smoothly on a flat surface. The only thing I can say to be careful if you want to sit down, as the chair may roll from underneath you. Don’t recall if you can lock the wheels other than using the handles. Overall, I say the quality is good and easy to use.

Great idea, poor quality for the $219 price!! It assembled reasonably easily, but some of the directions were confusing. I bought this product to use on a two-week trip to Europe to help with all the walking. I planned to use the walker as far as I could and then switch to the wheel chair. It worked, but just barely. It had to be checked as airline baggage and just didn’t stand up to the rough handling by the baggage handlers. Upon arrival, two of the wheels had fallen off. Luckily the baggage guys had found them and kept them with the walker. The cobblestones and rough sidewalks in Europe caused several of the bolts to come loose and I lost both foot rests at different times. This problem would have been solved had the manufacturer put a little rubber on the nut used to tighten the bolt. I tightened them as much as possible on assembly but the rough handling by the airlines and the vibrations from bouncing on the cobblestones and bumpy sidewalks jarred them loose, and the bolts were lost. Zip ties solved the problem, but it shouldn’t have happened at all. To make matters worse, one of the catches to keep the footrests in place when in use as a walker broke and the footrest had to be zip-tied in place and couldn’t be used. After two weeks, it’s pretty beat up. On the plus side, it was light-weight, reasonably comfortable, and easy to use. Height adjustment was quick and easy. I’m thinking it will be great for museums and the like, but it’s not cut out for what I bought it for. Given the price tag, I’m pretty disappointed.
