Afro Samurai 2 in development - Afro Samurai 2: The Revenge of Kuma

Afro Samurai 2: Revenge of the Bear, the sequel to the 2009 action game featuring Samuel L. Jackson as a voice actor, is being developed by Redacted Studios.

The sequel, which will also be loosely based on the Afro Samurai manga and anime franchises, will feature new playable characters and a co-op mode, senior producer David Robinson told Polygon. He also said that the storyline will focus on the character Kuma, who, in the anime series, was introduced in Season 1.

Robinson left Namco Bandai in 2012 to form his own development team, Redacted Studios. The studio has the rights to the franchise, and 17 developers are working on the sequel.

As of now, Afro Samurai 2 has no release date or specified platforms.
