The Bradley Wiggins Show by Eurosport returns for an extended 20-episode run in 2019 - kicking off this Monday, March 18. Graham Willgoss, former cycling editor of Sport mag, and regular cycling contributor on talkSPORT2, joins as the new show host.
The initial six episodes, running up until April 22, will focus on the ever popular Spring Classics and unpick some of the big themes of the 2019 season, with later coverage focused around the premium dates in the cycling calendar: the three Grand Tours and the UCI World Championships at the end of September.
The Bradley Wiggins Show will be available on all major podcast providers including iTunes, Spotify, iHeartRadio, and via eurosport.co.uk. So wherever you get your podcasts, the first episode of the 2019 season will be ready and waiting for you on Monday morning.
Wiggins, the only cyclist to have won both World Championships and Olympic gold medals on the track and road, as well as the Tour de France, will give his unique perspective on all the major talking points as the season unfolds as he is joined by an array of special guests throughout 2019.
Commenting on the show, Sir Bradley Wiggins said:
Eurosport has played an important role in developing the sport of cycling in the UK and mainland Europe for many years, establishing a passionate fanbase of cycling followers. I am looking forward to getting back behind the microphone and offering something for everyone, from the hardcore cycling fans to newcomers to the sport.
The series follows an impressive debut last year with more than 1m downloads during the Tour de France, peaking at #2 in the Sport and Recreation category in the iTunes chart, making it the most‐listened to cycling podcast during Le Tour. You can download previous episodes and check out the full series here.
Eurosport has again partnered with renowned UK-based podcast production company, Muddy Knees Media, to produce the series.
