It comes as little surprise to learn that Marcus Tavernier and Dael Fry are Middlesbrough's most important players this season - while Neeskens Kebano's performances since arriving also make him a key man.

Boro have won five of the eight games Kebano has started, while only managing to win 41% of their games this season without the Fulham loanee.

But having played the full season for Neil Warnock's side, Tavernier and Fry are the unsurprising key men, based on win percentages with and without them.

But how important are Boro's other players?

We calculated 'win percentages with' using every games a player played at least 45 minutes in, while win percentage without is any game a player was either an unused sub or not in the matchday squad.

Because some players are perhaps better suited to being impact subs rather than regular starters, we also calculated the win percentage when players come off the bench for all players who have made five or more substitute appearances.

It's worth noting that, with 16 wins in 38 games, Boro's current overall win percentage this season is 42% - which is also seen in the numbers of Marcus Bettinelli and Paddy McNair who have played in every game so far this season.

Here is a breakdown of what we found.
