Hungary have been keeping Marton Fulop's gloves with them as a lucky charm throughout Euro 2016.

Fulop, who played for Tottenham, Sunderland and Manchester City during his time in England, sadly passed away after a battle with cancer last November, aged just 32.

The late Hungarian international represented his country 24 times before he was forced out of the game in 2013 when he had a tumour removed from his arm.

However, Fulop has been with Bernd Storck's men in spirit and Hungary No.1 Gabor Kiraly has been pictured holding his former team-mate's gloves ahead of Wednesday night's crunch F clash with Portugal.

Hungary have made a storming start to the tournament and have already clinched their spot in the last 16.

They could face England in the knockout stages if they lose to Portugal and Iceland beat Austria this evening.

Fulop joined Spurs from Bodajk in 2004 and went on to play for nine English clubs.
