The U.S. Air Force has a lot of fighter planes. Go figure, right? But knowing there are hundreds of planes is very different from seeing them all in one place, which is exactly what this graphic will let you do.

Made by Contemporary Issues and Geography, this poster accounts for every single fighter in the U.S. Air Force as of June 2015, organized by squadron, and it's a ton and, well, it's a ton.

This is only the beginning, part one of a six-part series that will ultimately put the entire inventory of the United States Air Force into one, gigantic image. For more context, you can compare this massive collection of fighters to CIG's collection of all of the Navy's planes, or a visualization of all the Navy's ships.

Once the full graphic of all the USAF's planes is finished, you'll be able to buy an actual print of it to hang on your wall, and chances are it won't cost as much as even one fighter jet.
