The Billboard Music Awards always bring together the biggest stars, but one particular meeting had the internet in quite the uproar this year. The Chainsmokers, who've taken over radios everywhere this past year were, obviously, in attendance, but everyone went wild when photos of them with Korea's BTS surfaced. The group is the first ever K-Pop group to be nominated for a BBMA, and their meet-up with The Chainsmokers had tons of fans totally stoked — and even wondering about a possible collaboration in the near future.
Before the awards show on Sunday night (May 21), the two artists apparently had some hangout time behind the scenes. While chilling around what appears to be tour buses, they got together for a photo op. The official @BBMAs Twitter account tweeted out the photo of the groups shining in the sunny Las Vegas weather. Worlds might be colliding, but in all the good ways for those that love each of the groups.

On top of that photo, The Chainsmokers also made sure to get some selfie action with BTS as well. Alex Pall of the DJ/producer duo uploaded a video of everyone hanging out to The Chainsmokers Instagram story. He's hyping everyone up and says, "we got our boys right here, let's go!" and a bunch of the BTS members "whoooo!"in response. Drew Taggart shared another video on his own Instagram story and wrote,"Getting ready with BTS for billboards!" and two crying face emojis.

While all these videos were getting fans excited enough, there was even more to get stoked about. The Chainsmokers also posted a group selfie of everyone on Twitter, which they captioned "Love these dudes! See you guys this summer @BTS_twt." The tweet has racked up more than 107,000 retweets and 153,000 likes in just a couple of hours, with plenty of fans replying with emotions like "shook."It's unclear what exactly is happening this summer because both groups are on tour and their dates don't overlap.

Could BTS show up on stage with The Chainsmokers during concert as a surprise or vice versa? Or maybe link up for a collab? We won't know for sure, but we're excited for whatever they have in store for us during the summer.
