Ilhan Koman (1921 - 1986) was active/lived in Scandinavia, Turkey, Sweden.  Ilhan Koman is known for Sculpture and teaching.

Ilhan Koman was a sculptor and educator.  He was born in Edirne, Turkey (220 miles west of Istanbul) and died in Stockholm, Sweden, where he had lived since 1958.  He has also lived in Istanbul, Turkey (1940 -1947 and 1951-1957); Paris, France (1947-1951); and Brussels, Belgium (1957-1958).
 
His mediums include iron, steel, stainless steel, clay, wood, plastic, bronze, paper, plaster, titanium and mixed mediums.  His subjects are shape, texture, colour,  figures, symbolism, allegory and mathematic and geometric concepts.  His styles are diverse and include Realism*, Abstract Expressionism*, Abstraction*, Op Art*, Constructivism* and Kinetic Art*.  They draw influence from Rodin, Giacometti, Brancusi, Leonardo Da Vinci, Naum Gabo and Antoine Pevsner (see all in AskART).
