Still available in 2023. No hype sticker and no dowload voucher. Really good sound.
Sound is pretty much perfect, pressing is great, surface noise is virtually nonexistent. Bed of Roses is a bit quieter but it's supposed to be.- Very nice clean pressing. Flat, very few pops or clicks.Bed of Roses is quieter than the rest of the album but seem to remember it being that way on my original copy. Not mastered too loud so is fairly crackable, I needed to trim the treble off a little when played loud. Worth buying.
Sound is quite good on this new 2xLP pressing, much louder then the original UK or EU pressings, and delivers more punch and better bass, you do loose some dynamics though, that's aside its a great pressing for cranking up the volume and listening to loud as all BJ should be played without it sounding like its coming from a bean can,
the only track that could sound better on the original then this is Bed Of Roses but unless you have a minty of mint pressings the extra volume needed to achieve it would make any background noise unbearable. so to sum up, Not exactly a half speed mastering job but way better then the original for most people...
Now all I have to do is replace my New Jersey Picture Disc, Thin & Tiny doesn't even do that justice..
